Frequently Asked Questions

Digital Planning

Digital planning is the exact same as paper planning except you do it on your tablet. So instead of writing with a pen, you write with a stylus and/or use text boxes. And instead of paper, you’re writing on a PDF document on your iPad or other tablet device. Essentially, you are annotating your planner PDF pages via an App like Goodnotes, Notability, Noteshelf, etc.

And just like with paper planning, you can write, draw, highlight, use colorful and fun stickers, and customize your planning layouts to your heart’s content! All while being eco-friendly and saving trees 🙂

To use digital planners you’ll need to purchase an iPad, Android tablet, or Microsoft tablet device. Although you can use digital planners on computers and mobile phones, they’re designed for tablets specifically.

As well, you’ll want to buy a stylus (Apple Pencil, etc.) to really get the most paper-like planning experience from your digital planner.

For the best digital planning experience, I recommend using one of the following apps. Don’t be afraid to try out 1 or 2 before settling on your preferred planning app! So take advantage of free trials that some of them offer 🙂

iOS devices: Goodnotes or Notability

Android devices: Noteshelf, Samsung Notes, Penly

Microsoft tablets: Noteshelf

No, digital planners do not sync with other applications and calendar apps on your devices. Just like paper planners, digital planners are their own separate way of getting organized, planning, and note-taking. Some digital planners, including Snazzy Pixels daily planners, include hyperlinks to the Add Event template in your Apple or Google Calendar and will fill in the date/time for you. However, events in your Apple or Google Calendar WILL NOT “sync” and appear in your digital planner. You must write events in your digital planner yourself.

Yes, for the most part. Apps that you’ll use to plan (e.g. Goodnotes, Notability, Noteshelf, etc.) often let you sync your documents between devices, including your tablet, phone, and computer. Therefore, if this is a feature that you’d like to have, check that your PDF annotation app can do this before getting too deep into your planning.

Printable Planners

Always double-check the listing/product description to find out which paper sizes each particular printable is available in. That being said, the majority of my printable planners are available in:

  • US Letter (8.5″ x 11″)
  • A4 (8.27″ x 11.7″)
  • A5 (5.83″ x 8.27″)
  • A5 with trim marks
  • Happy Planner Classic (7″ x 9.25″)
  • Half Letter (5.5″ x 8.5″)
  • Half Letter with trim marks

ZIP files are a compressed file format that make it easy to download multiple documents and large file sizes in one go. They’re easy to work with and no matter what device you’re using, you can open them no problem 🙂

If you’re on a Mac: Download the ZIP file to your downloads folder, then double-click to unzip it.

If you’re on Windows: Download the ZIP file to your computer/tablet, locate it, and then right-click and choose Extract Files.

For iOS devices: Download the ZIP file to your iCloud Downloads folder. Locate it and tap on it to unzip.

For Android devices: Download the ZIP file and save to your Files by Google. Tap on the file and Extract.

  • Download the ZIP file included with your purchase.
  • Unzip the file following the instructions above.
  • Open the PDF for your destination paper size. Each PDF file is labeled “A5”, “US Letter”, etc. so that you can easily locate your desired size.
  • Go to File > Print
  • Select your destination paper size, Scale 100%, and BEST QUALITY
  • Print!

When you go to print, make sure you have the correct destination paper size selected as well as:

  • Scale 100% or Actual Size, especially for odd paper sizes and files that include trim marks.
  • BEST Quality ink settings to ensure designs and colors look their best.

Purchasing & Refunds

Digital files are different to physical products in that they cannot physically be returned. Therefore, I do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges on any products.

Before purchasing, please make sure that the product is suitable for your device, operating system, planning needs, etc. If you’re uncertain or have any questions about a product before buying, send me a message on Etsy. I’m happy to make sure it’s right for you! 🙂

Technology doesn’t always cooperate, I get it! If you have absolutely any issues downloading, importing, printing your printables, etc. please shoot me a message on Etsy so we can sort it out together 🙂 Please do not email me, as I don’t check my email as regularly as I do my Etsy messages!

Because of the nature of digital downloads, they cannot be exchanged per say. Once you have a file, you have it and there’s no way to return/exchange it for another. I do not offer exchanges on any digital products. Please message me on Etsy before purchasing so that we can both make sure it’s what you want.
